• 8U -- 2018-2021 Birth Years

Practices will begin in August. Preseason games begin in September. Based on the results of the preseason NorCal will place teams in appropriate skill divisions (B, BB, A) Regular Season games begin in October.

LABOR DAY WEEKEND PRE-SEASON JAMBOREE  

All Travel Teams 10U-14U will participate in a NorCal Jamboree in San Jose over Labor Day Weekend, this is considered the bulk of preseason which determines what division your team will be in for the upcoming season. 

2026-2027 Membership Dues

• 10U “Squirts”: $3100
• 12U “Peewees”: $3100
• 14U “Bantams”: $3100
• High School (Varsity and JV): $3500
• Dual Roster - internal (bantam + high school, with coach approval) = must pay high school fees

Discounts:

• Goalies pay 50% of the standard dues
• Dual Roster - external club (approved by coach): $1000

Dues can be paid in full or in monthly payments over the course of the season.

All practices and home games are played at Snoopy's Home Ice in Santa Rosa, CA.

Away game locations will depend on which teams are in our divisons.

• Coaching Staff - support for volunteer coaches including equipment, certificate reimbursements, and travel reimbursement for non-parent coaches.
• Team registration for the Wine Country Face Off (or alternative tournament)
• Post season registration fees if the team qualifies.

Extra costs include but are not limited to:

• Game uniforms
• Practice jerseys and socks
• Flyers apparel including training shirts, sweatshirts, hats, etc
• Apparel can be purchased from our local partner Sonoma Design Apparel
• Registration fees for additional away tournaments the team may choose to participate in
• Food, lodging, or travel expenses for away games and tournaments.
• Personal protective gear and equipment

Preseason games begin in September. Regular season games begin in October. The season runs through March. NorCal Playoffs are generally the first or second weekend of March.

Most games are held on Saturdays and Sundays. However, some tournaments have games scheduled on Fridays and Mondays.

Teams will have multiple ice touches each week. These touches can be practices or games.

• 10U, 12U, 14U -- 3 touches
• Usually 1 weekday, Sat, and Sun
• Weekday slots rotate between Wed, Thur, and Fri.
• High School -- 4 touches
• Usually Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun

Some age groups also have weekly dryland or conditioning practices.

Required Equipment

• Black Certified Hockey Helmet with full face shield or cage
• Black Hockey Gloves
• Black Breezers (hockey pants)

Required Uniform

All players are expected to have:

• Flyers practice jerseys, black and white
• Practice socks, black
• Game Uniform
• Game jerseys, home and away
• Game socks, home and away
• Pant shell

Teams may participate in tournaments outside of league games throughout the season. Tournaments will be decided on each season by the head coach and families of a team.

SRJHC home tournament WCFO is held each Presidents’ Day weekend. Teams participating in this tournament will be decided on by the tournament director and ACE.
