Ages

  • 10U -- 2014 and 2015 Birth Years
  • 12U -- 2012 and 2013 Birth Years
  • 14U -- 2010 and 2011 Birth Years
  • HS -- 2006-2009 Birth Years

The Mites season begins September 1st

  • 8U -- 2016-2019 Birth Years

When

Practices will begin in August. Preseason games begin in September. Based on the results of the preseason NorCal will place teams in appropriate skill divisions (B, BB, A) Regular Season games begin in October.

Where

All practices and home games are played at Snoopy's Home Ice in Santa Rosa, CA.

Away game locations will depend on which teams are in our divisons.

Practices

Teams will have multiple ice touches each week. These touches can be practices or games.

  • Mites 8U -- 2 touches
  • Usually Wed, and Sat or Sun
  • Squirts 10U -- 3 touches
  • Usually Wed, Sat, Sun
  • Peewees 12U -- 3 touches
  • Usually Wed, Sat, Sun
  • Bantam 14U -- 3 touches
  • Usually Thur, Sat, Sun
  • High School -- 4 touches
  • Usually Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun

Some age groups also have weekly dryland or conditioning practices.

Games

Preseason games begin in September. Regular season games begin in October. The season runs through March. NorCal Playoffs are generally the first or second weekend of March.

Most games are held on Saturdays and Sundays. However, some tournaments have games scheduled on Fridays and Mondays.

Uniforms

Required Equipment

  • Black Certified Hockey Helmet with full face shield or cage
  • Black Hockey Gloves
  • Black Breezers (hockey pants)

       DO NOT replace your helmet, gloves, and breezers (ice hockey pants) if they are not black.

      When buying new equipment please purchase black only

Required Uniform

All players are expected to have:

  • Flyers practice jerseys, black and white
  • Practice socks, black
  • Game jerseys, home and away
  • Game socks, home and away
  • Pant shell


All uniform pieces are available to purchase as part of the offer acceptance.

Extra Costs

Extra costs include but are not limited to:

  • travel costs (auto/plane), hotel and food if necessary
  • tournament fees
  • apparel
  • personal protective gear and equipment

Tournaments

All teams except Mites participate in at least two tournaments during the course of the season. One of those is our Wine Country Face Off in February.
