How to dress your youth hockey player

Please don't hesitate to ask any of the coaches to show you how to properly tie skates.

The skate tongue can go outside or under the shin pad. It is personal preference.
Double twist the laces before you tie the knot or before going around the back of the boot.
If you have a lot of lace left when you get to the top you can wrap the laces low around the back of the boot and then tie at the front.
