Player's Code of Conduct
- Play for fun.
- Work hard to improve your skills.
- Be a team player – get along with your teammates.
- Learn teamwork, sportsmanship and discipline.
- Be on time.
- Learn the rules and play by them. Always be a good sport.
- Respect your coach, your teammates, your parents, opponents and officials.
- Respect an official’s decision.
Participant's Code Of Conduct
- No swearing or abusive language on the bench, in the rink, or at any team function.
- No lashing out at any official no matter what the call is. The coaching staff will handle all matters pertaining to officiating.
- Anyone who receives a penalty will skate directly to the penalty box.
- Fighting will not be tolerated. Fighting will result in an appearance before the Discipline Committee.
- There will be no drinking, smoking, chewing of tobacco or use of illegal substance at any team function.
- I will conduct myself in a befitting manner at all facilities (ice rink, hotel, restaurant, etc.) during all team functions.
- Any player or team official who cannot abide by these rules or violates them will be subject to further disciplinary action.
CAHA Code of Conduct
The Santa Rosa Flyers organization follows the conditions of participation of the following governing bodies and has adopted them as part of this contract: the USA Hockey Participant Code of Conduct (as well as the Codes of Conduct for Parents, Players, Spectators, Administration and Officials), and the CAHA Code of Conduct as outline in the CAHA Guidebook. The Santa Rosa Flyers organization has zero tolerance for any violations of these conditions and reserves the right to remove any person from participation who exhibits behavior that is contrary to the expectations of USA Hockey and the Santa Rosa Flyers, including but not limited to suspension, a probationary term, or expulsion from the program. Further, financial sanctions could be applies as outlined in the CAHA Guidebook. It is the responsibility of each member to read and become familiar with these Codes of Conduct and they will be enforced in the interest of a safe and positive environment.
